How this site handles your data — simply and respectfully.
No tracking, no analytics
This site does not use cookies for tracking. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no pixel trackers, and no advertising networks. Your browsing behavior is not collected or shared with anyone.
Drop a Note form
If you send a message through the Drop a Note form, your name (optional), email (optional), and message are sent via Resend as an email to the site owner. Messages are not stored in a database, published publicly, or shared with third parties.
Reactions
Content pages have lightweight reaction buttons. Reaction counts are stored anonymously in Upstash Redis. No personal information is attached to reactions. A localStorage key is used on your device to prevent duplicate reactions — this data never leaves your browser.
Local storage
This site uses browser localStorage for a few small things: remembering whether you've seen the welcome animation, tracking your visit count (displayed in the footer), and preventing duplicate reactions. All of this data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal web hosting. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
